If you can get tickets, try and head to Kew Gardens this Christmas for a chance to walk through their magnificent Christmas lights. From a light tunnel to trees with glittering string lights.
For a cup of mulled wine, the famous Christmas tree, the hourly snow show, Christmas buskers and the many decorations. I particularly love seeing the giant mistletoe hanging from the covered market.
Head to Kingston Upon Thames for their historic Christmas market for a chance to find a unique Christmas gift.
Head to Harrods in November – I would avoid going in December! – to find a beautiful gift or a treat for yourself. I recommend the Christmas flavoured sweets and drinks, especially the Christmas flavoured coffee.
If you want to see a dazzling light display this Christmas, then Carnaby Street is the place to go. With themed lights from palm trees, dolphins and Queen lyrics.
From looking at the gorgeous lights along the river to visiting the Christmas market. There is a lot to see and do along the Southbank at Christmas.
If you’re looking to go ice skating or watch ice skaters, then head to Somerset House. They have a fantastic rink which you can skate on for 45 minute increments under a 40ft tree. There’s also food and drink available inside and some shopping, though it’s mostly the rink you should go for.
