New Year’s Resolutions 2023
It’s the beginning of the New Year. Goodbye 2022, it’s time for 2023. And time to set my New Year’s Resolutions 2023.
In 2022 I set myself five New Year’s Resolutions and I think I’m going to do the same in 2023. Some you will recognise – mostly because they seem to be the same every year – others are slightly newer.
New Year’s Resolutions 2023
Read 100 Books
As ever, first up is my resolution to read 100 books. I love setting myself this goal each year because it encourages me to read a lot more. Before I go to bed, on my commute, when I’m travelling and just generally when I’m pottering at home. My Goodreads goal is set and I look forward to capturing what I read in 2023.
Get a new book deal
I usually say ‘write a new novel’ and that is my intention for 2023, but I also want to get a new book deal. I was first, and last, published in 2021, and I’ve since written two more books. I would like to try again and start afresh with a new novel, again in the contemporary fiction genre. Let’s see what 2023 will bring.
Have a new experience at least once a month
Last year I wanted to try and experience as much as possible. In 2023, to make it more trackable, I would like to have at least one new experience per month. Be it going to a new restaurant, visiting a new city or country, seeing a new show or gaining a new skill.
Have £5000 in savings
A bit of a big one, but in 2022 I really saw the importance and value of having savings in the bank and in 2023 I would like to save a further amount to have £5000 in savings. What I’ll do with those savings is yet to be seen. Do I want to buy a house? Get a car? Something else? Watch this space…
Grow EllesBellesNotebook
From improving my DA score, refreshing the design, monetising and more. After 9 years of blogging, I think it might be time to look at growing EllesBellesNotebook into something that brings in passive income.
