My Christmas Wish List 2022
As we approach Christmas I thought I would share my Christmas Wish List 2022. These are just items on my wish list that I plan on purchasing later unless others gift the items to me in the meantime, I don’t expect anything at all.
But these are the items on my Christmas wish list 2022.
One thing I’ve had on my wish list for a while is a weighted blanket. Apparently, it’s good for anxiety, and a lot of the blankets I’ve got in the flat are getting to the end of their long lives. Most have been with me since before university. So I think I might give this a go in the New Year.
I love a Christmas-scented Yankee Candle. I’ve been burning through my collection over the last few weeks and the one I was particularly fond of was the Christmas Magic Yankee Candle.
I’ve seen Harry Potter and the Cursed Child three times, six if you count each production separately, and twice with the original cast. I’m interested to know more about how the production came together, especially since it’s the staging and magic of the production that I like the most. The story is pretty rubbish when you see it on paper, but it comes to life on stage.
I’ve been meaning to get to this book for a while now. It’s a collection of Greek Myths but all re-told from the perspective of the women, as opposed to the male ‘heroes’ of the traditional stories.
I love my record player and I enjoy listening to modern artists whilst working. My favourite albums are Sigrid’s Strangers and The Lumineers Cleopatra. Kodaline’s album is pretty much in the same vein of music, at least to my ears. Easy listening but with a good beat and catchy lyrics.
Another Greek Myth retelling. This stunning novel is a new version of Medusa by Jessie Burton, with gorgeous illustrations by Olivia Lomenech Gill.
And finally, my favourite perfume. I have just run out of this classic scent and I’m looking to restock in the New Year. At least this gives me chance to use some of my other perfumes.
