Most Anticipated Books of 2024

As we approach the end of the year I thought I would share my annual list of most anticipated books of 2024.

Most Anticipated Books of 2024

Green Dot by Madeleine Gray – 1st February 2024

First up, a debut novel that sounds right up my street. Hera is a twenty-something, bisexual woman who has only ever dated women. Suddenly she falls for her male, much older colleague and the workplace romance consumes her life. It’s marketed as funny and literary and feels like my sort of book.

I Love You, I Love You, I Love You by Laura Dockrill – 20th June 2024

This is Laura Dockrill’s adult debut and is all about first love. Think One Day meets Love, Rosie. The main character, Ella is in love with her best friend Lowe, but has never acted on her feelings. The book follows the characters for over fifteen years and is a nostalgia trip all about the lovely and hurtful first love experience.

Making It by Laura Kay – 4th July 2024

From the author of The Split and Tell Me Everything is a new rom-com about friendship and finding yourself. There are no other details at the moment, but I really like Laura Kay’s writing and I’m looking forward to her latest novel.

The Voyage Home by Pat Barker – 22nd August 2024

Continuing Pat Barker’s series about the women of Troy, the third instalment focuses on Cassandra after she arrives at Mycenae with Agamemnon. A story of three women affected by the war in different ways: Cassandra, Clytemnestra and Electra.

Honey by Isabel Banta – 6th June 2024

And finally, a book that I’m working on in 2024 called Honey by Isabel Banta. This is a brilliant novel that I’m marketing as Daisy Jones and the Six meets Britney: The Memoir. Set in the late 1990s and following an infamous popstar, Amber, the story is electric, sapphic and addictive. I can’t wait to share it with readers in 2024.
