#MarketYourMarketing | Work In Publishing Special Workshop

From the 16th-20th November 2020, it’s Work in Publishing week on social media. Groups such as the Publishers Association and the Society of Young Publishers will be sharing extra resources and content to promote the publishing industry.

As promised, I’m back with another #MarketYourMarketing workshop. This time I’ll be live on Zoom from 6-7 pm on Wednesday 18th November for a special event.

A #WorkInPublishing Q&A workshop!

The session will be an hour, as normal, but I’ll start with a short 15-minute description of my journey into publishing with a small presentation with further resources for you guys to check out in order to break into the industry. Such as where to look for work experience, how to network, and who to follow online for further tips.

The rest of the session will purely be a Q&A where you can ask me whatever you like about the industry. From how to find work experience to the realities of remote working in publishing. You can ask about interviews, CVs, skill development… anything you like, so long as it is relevant to the industry.

How do I sign up?

As always, please sign up via Eventbrite in advance of the workshop. Tickets are FREE and you can register now.

Once you’ve registered you’ll receive a Zoom link by 5:45 pm to join the workshop at 6 pm. Any issues with the link you can email me or reach out via Twitter to let me know.

The session will be recorded and shared at a later date. But to make your questions are answered it’s better to attend. It’s very informal, all questions come through the chat and I promise I don’t bite.
