Gifts for Book Lovers
Christmas is right around the corner and that means it’s time for some gift guides. First up on my life is Gifts for Book Lovers.
For readers that also have pierced ears, why not get them some custom book earrings. You can choose the book in question, be it their favourite book or a classic. If they’re an author you can get their cover made into earrings for them. There is plenty to choose from.
If the book lover doesn’t have pierced ears or wouldn’t like custom earrings, why not try a stack of books necklace like the one above. Simple but effective, and a nice little stocking gift.
For classic books lovers, art prints are always appreciated. From images of their favourite covers to references of famous reads. I loved this Banned Book Art Print on Etsy. Artistic, pretty, and a great gift for book lovers.
Every book lover, funnily enough, loves books! Instead of trying to guess which books they don’t have, get them a subscription as a gift so that new books arrive for months to come. I recommend the Rare Birds Book Club as they send out an amazing selection of recent reads at affordable prices.
We all love a book challenge, or at least I do. I recommend this book about books to read before you kick the bucket. Much like a scratch-poster to allow you to keep track of all of the classics you’ve read or not read, this bucket list book will help you to discover new reads and tick them off one by one.
I have this book and love it! If you’re feeling melancholy, hungover, or simply hungry there is a book for every mood. It’s full of lists, descriptions, and tons of recommendations. A great coffee table book.
For the more logistical reader, why not get them a page holder for when they’re reading in bed, on a beach, or standing cooking dinner.
And finally, a scarf. Everyone needs a scarf and who doesn’t love to read their scarves. Just kidding, but still a nice little gift for someone who loves books.
Which gift do you think a book lover will love best? Let me know in the comments below.
