End of Year Book Tag 2022

It’s November and the end of 2022 is fast approaching. It’s time for the End of Year Book Tag 2022. I did the tag back in 2021 and I invite you to do the same.

End of Year Book Tag 2022

Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?

I have a few books I started for work that I had to put down, that I really want to finish – and should! So I’ll get to those before others in the next few months. I also started Great Expectations by Charles Dickens and would like to finish that before the end of 2022.

Do you have an autumnal book to transition into the end of the year?

I don’t have an autumnal book at the moment. I want to read more Christmas novels to get in the Christmas / December mood.

Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?

Most of the big books I wanted to read in 2022 came out in October 2022, but I’m sure there are a few others out in November that I’ll see and suddenly want.

What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?

I really want to finish Great Expectations by Charles Dickens, and I’d like to read Baby, It’s Cold Outside by Emily Bell and The No-Show by Beth O’Leary by the end of 2022.

Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favourite book of the year?

I can’t think of any specific books that could shock me, but there’s always a chance!

Have you already started making reading plans for 2023?

Nothing specific, but I know I would like to read a further 100 books in 2023 – new and re-reads. There are a few amazing books coming out in 2023 that I would like to add to my to-read list as well. To be revealed in December…
