Christmas Bucket List 2022
It’s the 1st day of December, and that means it’s time for Blogmas! This month I’ll be sharing a new blog post every day – excluding Christmas Day – starting with my Christmas Bucket List 2022.
What’s on my Christmas Bucket List 2022
Drink Mulled Wine at Covent Garden
A classic, but a delicious and fun one. I don’t know who I’ll go to Covent Garden with, but I would love to grab a cup of mulled wine by the Christmas tree one evening after work. It’s a great chance to admire the Christmas tree and catch up with friends.
Have a Christmas Movie Marathon
Whether it be a Saturday watching every Santa Clause movie, or simply all my favourites: Meet Me in St Louis, Scrooge the Musical and Love, Actually. I want to have a Christmas movie marathon!
Go to the Midnight Carolling in Devon
I’m off to Devon for Christmas at my sister’s this year, and I will admit – although I whinged a lot – I enjoyed going to the midnight carolling in her local village. What made it lovely was getting to have many glasses of prosecco with my sister’s sister-in-law and bundling up in lots of jumpers and scarves. A fun family moment.
Go Ice Skating
Last year, I was meant to go ice skating with friends shortly before Christmas. Unfortunately, Omnicron put paid to that, and we missed out. I’m going to gather the ladies and see if anyone is up for it this year instead.
Go to a Christmas Market
Whether it be in London or outside of the city, I would like to visit some kind of Christmas market. It’s the ambience I like best, as opposed to the shopping. Without fail, every Christmas market I’ve ever been to smells of roasted chestnuts, mulled wine and pine trees.
