Budget Christmas Gifts

I know, I know. It’s barely November, and I’m talking about Christmas. But I love Christmas! And with the cost-of-living crisis, it is better to spread the cost of the festive season while we can. So, with that in mind, here are some Budget Christmas Gifts.

Budget Christmas Gift Ideas

Everyone loves – and uses – mugs! If you know someone who is addicted to tea or coffee or hot chocolate then think about getting them a really lovely mug for Christmas. B&M and Poundland do some lovely seasonal mugs from Pumpkin mugs to Gingerbread mugs, to the likes of fashion stores selling Christmas Pudding mugs, as well as popular Letter mugs and funnier ones with silly messages on.

The brilliant thing about books is that you can get plenty of secondhand books that look brand new and are usually fairly new releases. If you have a friend or a family member who loves to read, why not raid your local charity shop and give them a bundle of books for Christmas? They won’t care if they’re secondhand if they’ve got five new books to read! Alternatively, new books in supermarkets are typically priced between £4.50 – for a paperback – and £10 for a hardback. For a new release that’s very cheap!

Board games

If you go to The Works you can find some really fun board games for under £10. From the ever-popular Logo Games to puzzles and Trivia Pursuit. These are inexpensive family fun that can offer memories as well as a lovely gift idea.

We all use stationery, from pens and notepads to Sharpies and organisers. Why not head to The Works, your local supermarket or an inexpensive stationary shop and pick up some new notebooks or a pack of colourful Sharpies for a student or an adult you know who loves making notes?

Hot Water Bottle and Fluffy Socks

As Winter draws in, there is nothing better than a pair of fluffy socks or a toasty hot water bottle to keep you warm. You can pick these up inexpensively on TikTok Shop, Amazon, Poundland, The Range, anywhere really and it’s likely it won’t even cost you £10.

Those are my suggestions for some budget Christmas gifts this festive season. Which one(s) would you like to receive? Let me know in the comments below.
