30 Days of Decluttering | The Year of 30 Day Challenges
To kick off my Year of 30 Day Challenges, I’m starting with 30 Days of Decluttering. To start the New Year right, I’m going to spend the next 30 days decluttering various areas of my life to get myself organised, earn a bit of cash and clean up the flat.
I’ve made a few changes to my shareable list, as there are some specific elements of my life I want to declutter which may not be applicable to others who attempt this challenge.
I will also not necessarily be completing these tasks in order. You can if you prefer, but with work, travel, and commitments I’m going to attempt a few decluttering tasks on the same day.
30 Days of Decluttering
- Shoes
- Clothes (at my flat)
- Clothes (at my parents – I have quite a few here!)
- Books
- Kitchenware
- Notebooks
- Junk Drawer
- Storage Cupboard
- Bedding
- Bathroom Cabinet
- Beside Table
- Underbed Storage
- Desk
- Coffee Table
- Food Cabinet
- Fridge
- Freezer
- Personal Laptop
- Work Laptop
- Personal Email
- Paperwork
- Family History Paperwork
- Bags
- Bathroom Shelves & Storage
- Stationery
- Jewellery
- Cosmetics & Haircare
- Cleaning Materials
- Sideboard cupboard
- Work Bag
If you attempt this challenge you can make changes to the list as you see fit. You might have more rooms to declutter or fewer specific cupboards you want to attempt.
The aim is to get rid of at least one bag of clutter. From rubbish to throw away, items to donate to charity, or belongings you can sell or gift to others.
I’ll update how the 30 Days of Decluttering goes at the end of the month. Let me know if you’re going to attempt a 30 Day Challenge, be it for a year or just for one month. If you do attempt one, I wish you the best of luck!
