Things I’ve Done in 2023
Have a spa weekend
When I was in Stratford-Upon-Avon, I spent a large portion of my holiday in the spa and generally relaxing in bed in the hotel. It was lovely.
See Moulin Rouge
In January 2023, my best friend and I went to see the show in the West End.
Write in a diary
I’ve been keeping up a diary during 2023, and so far this has been continuous.
See a show at the Royal Shakespeare Company
I saw Julius Caesar whilst in Stratford-Upon-Avon, at the Swan Theatre. Very excited to be back there.
Visit Kew Gardens
In April, I visited the gardens with my parents for a day and it was lovely. The weather was very kind to us.
Have a Eurovision Party
In May, we headed to a family friends’ and had a fabulous Eurovision Party. I still can’t believe Finland didn’t win.
Go to my first Stadium Concert
In early June, my sister, dad and I saw Coldplay in Manchester! Whilst I can’t say I’m a fan of concerts, I did really enjoy myself and thought Coldplay were excellent. I’m definitely not a convert to concerts though.
Visit The Cauldron
For my birthday, some friends and I headed to The Cauldron in Soho. Whilst the experience wasn’t amazing – the staff weren’t great, and a lot of things were missing from our boxes – hanging out with my friends and being silly as we made cocktails was fun.
Travel to three more cities
This year I’ve managed to visit Straford-Upon-Avon, Leeds, York, Liverpool and Manchester. Leeds was unplanned, but the rest were a lot of fun. I might even squeeze one more in before the end of the year.
Visit x3 Museums and Galleries
I went to the York Art Gallery, the Museum of Liverpool, Tate Liverpool and Walker Art Gallery, so quite a few museums and galleries this year, and I definitely think there are more in my future.
Complete x6 30 Day Challenges
Whilst I might not have completed them, I did attempt more than six so I’m ticking this one off my list!
There are still 12 things to do in 2023! Let’s see how the rest of the year goes and I’ll update you at the end of the year. Wish me luck.
